Here's a little peek at an upcoming post. Back in 2009 I began the Artists' Palettes series, sharing photographs of artists' paint-splattered boards and other tools of the trade. This year is the 100th anniversary of Romare Bearden's birth, so I thought it would be interesting to ask collage-making artists to share their "paper palettes." First up will be Terry Rosen, a multifaceted illustrator, textile/surface designer and fine artist. Learn more about her here.
Also, a quick reminder to check out recent work by the young Pablove Shutterbugs. As mentioned in the previous post, the students happen to be pediatric cancer patients from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. I'm so impressed with their photography and am thrilled to be able to help spread the word about Kopeikin Gallery's special celebration this weekend.
