The exhibition Hey, Hot Shot! 2009 First Edition will be on view Thursday, September 10 through Saturday, September 19 at Jen Bekman Gallery. Included among the five photographers is Hong Kong-born British-educated Kurt Tong. I'm really drawn to his work, some of which is inspired by his family snapshots and recreational spaces he visited in China. Here is a small sampling of his style, above and below.

Jamie Drake is coming to Atlanta to help support DIFFA. On Thursday, September 17, Madison Gallery hosts a 3 p.m. presentation with Drake to be followed by a wine and hors d'hoeuvre reception at Deadwyler Antiques.
