Worth a Look

If you have time to hop over to Vicky's Yard Sale, be sure to take a peek at this mid-century oil by Linda Rogers. It's on the large side, measuring 44.5 x 34.5 inches.

Also on the Web, High Street Market blog has a very interesting post about Humen Tan's Mad Men-era renderings.

And here's something to look for at your local newsstand or favorite book shop: the May (British) edition of House & Garden. Inside a story highlights textile designer Brigitte Singh's modern stone haveli in India -- a house inspired by the old mansions of Rajasthan with its own airy courtyard. The locally-made chevron-patterned tile floor shown above suggests centuries-old Mughal design.

Henry Wilson wrote and photographed the story. Click here to learn more about Doris Duke's Mughal-inspired garden in the U.S.

M21 -- I agree about Vicky's work! Just realized I unintentionally made a corny Easter reference in that first line :)

Anyway, Happy Easter.
