I know many of you who are in decorating or other creative fields have stacks of pretty scraps left over from previous projects. Unless you are inclined to make some pillows for a dollhouse -- not a bad mother-daughter weekend project -- consider donating them to a therapeutic treatment center like The Bridge, or to a children's hospital. Most facilities such as these have a craft or art therapy room, and are always in need of supplies. Tweens and teens especially appreciate new things to work with.
