Don't Miss It

For those of you who may not have noticed this in my sidebar under "Made Me Smile," I want to draw attention to Lisa's chic and welcoming entry. This is a great example of when it works to hang photography or paintings against a densely patterned background -- something I'd like to explore further this week. BTW: Her bookshelves are inspiring too. Click here for more.

Courtney — It's only Tuesday morning and I am dizzy with delight at all you've posted this week. Lisa's blog is a new find — thanks. Very interesting to see how personal influences are embodied in concrete items in our decor.

Courtney- This is a fabulous photo! I love too how she used the red runner up the stairs. Wonderful!!

Jennifer -- I know! Who would have thought a red runner could look so chic and fresh -- yet kind of old world too.
