Speaking of Southerners and Dramatic Lamps...

I know. I'm becoming a bit redundant with the continual posting of the Lisa Fine Paris apartment pictures. But they are just such a perfect fit with this roll we're on about glamorous lamps and contemporary Southern style.

More than eight years ago, Mississippi-born textile designer Fine was ahead of the curve; in her 7th-arrondissement flat she mixed bold lamps with classic furnishings, the way one might accessorize a black turtleneck with jeweled earings. The brass lamp in the guest bedroom is French, 1950s.
