A trip to Binders, adjacent to our "disco Kroger," always puts me in the mood to take another art class. Those endless rows of brushes and tubes of paint are just so enticing.

SCAD-Atlanta, the Atlanta campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design, offers year-round open enrollment, non-credit design courses. Sample subjects include drafting for interior design, furniture history and interior design theory. Classes typically take place once a week, at night from 7-9:30 p.m., and last eight weeks. Tuition is around $250.
Although the winter session is in full swing, registration for spring should begin in a few weeks. Visit SCAD's site to learn more (look under Atlanta Campus Community Ed.)

I have been perusing this catalog in hopes of enrolling. My only problem is finding the time!
I so wish we had something like this here!
