Circa 16th-century Indian cotton, plain weave, dyed, stamped, painted © 2007 The Textile Museum
This centuries-old fragment is currently Textile of the Month at The Textile Museum in Washington D.C. Doesn't it look like the inspiration behind many of Anthropologie's wares?

Hi! I just got the sample of Les Pois and while it's really pretty I'm not sure how I feel about the amount of poly in it. It's definitely got a crazy sheen to it. Probably still great for a small pillow. I also looked at the one you posted from Pieces and I love it.
Have you done any posts on french ticking or just ticking in general? I'm considering upholstering a piece in it. Thank you for you great site...it's definitely my guilty pleasure.
Wow, that was fast :)
Hmm...let me think about ticking for a second. (I do love that red-and-white Pieces pillow!)
Thanks for your positive comments BTW.
You sure are a textile guru! :-)
