The Bedroom Bible

Above, Kim Zimmerman's photography collection personalizes her Atlanta loft. (Click image to enlarge and better see those orange chairs!) Bedroom photographed by Pieter Estersohn for Southern Accents.

Above, a lush antique Indian palampore (bed hanging) is the focal point of this otherwise tailored Charleston bedroom designed by Mark and Melissa Maresca, as seen in Southern Accents' bedroom bookazine.

Shortly after I mentioned misplacing my copy of Southern Accents' bookazine, Our Most Beautiful Bedrooms, a little elf sent one my way. If you ever see a copy on eBay or Past Paper, I recommend grabbing it. The special issue from summer 2006 is a great resource, examining every type of bed imaginable -- from the full-on curtained David Hicks style to the most minimal. Linens, mattresses, monograms, lighting, floors, attic bedrooms, loft bedrooms, kids' rooms and more are all in there too.

Condensed inspiration can be found at Southern Accents online.
