

Christie's Asia Week in New York begins tomorrow September 14. One of the highlights will be the sale of the Meriem Collection of Chinese snuff bottles. I think the samples above are exquisite, and something that might inspire a contemporary designer.

These elephant drawings are from Thailand, 19th century.

I can never get enough of elephants as a deign element. Thankfully, Asian inspired pieces are considered timeless classics... such beautiful pieces.
