Next week, January 30-31, Sotheby's will sell over 76,000 pieces of fine 18th-century Chinese porcelain recovered from the Ca Mau shipwreck, in the South China Seas. Although the auction will take place in Amsterdam, Sotheby's site features a fascinating video about the recovery effort and the wares that were found, as well as an online sale catalog. It's worth a look.

nice photo and thanks for the tip!
I love Sotheby's and have taken some classes there in London and New York. You can learn so much by just reading their catalogues.
Fairfax,
I envy you!

Tica,

Cheers,
Courtney
