Ohhh, what a great post! There really is nothing quite like a beautiful, detailed porcelain piece... a work of art unto itself.
I adore Late Meiji (late 1800's) Japanese style plates and bowls. The designs are so intricate and stunning. Truly a treasured heirloom...
