Monday Morning Conference

For everyone who will begin Monday with a staff meeting in a drab conference room, or by answering email in a less than stellar home office, I hope this image serves as a bit of a visual oasis.

One of my favorite rooms of all time, this is the conference area in the KWID bungalow, as seen in the chapter on texture and color in Modern Glamour: The Art of Unexpected Style. The exact chapter title is Color & Texture: The Power of Succulent Decor. With all the reflective surfaces, including a pair of tortoise-patterned green patent leather benches that sadly don't show in this picture, I'd say this work space is indeed stimulating.
