Rudolf Nureyev: A Life in Dance opens this Saturday at the de Young. But those of us who aren't in San Francisco can get a small sense of the exhibition via Instagram. Look for #nureyev or checkout images as they appear in the Museum's Twitter feed here. (In case you're wondering why I'm taking time to post the obvious, some of the pictures are nicely detailed.)

To learn more about the Museum's collaboration with the San Francisco Ballet, click here. Nureyev-related gift shop offerings -- including the exhibition catalogue and newly expanded selection of books -- are here, and a bit about the dancer's passion for textiles is here. Lastly, behind the scenes pics of the costume prep are here.
