Quick tip of the day: For vintage textile tomes, UK-based specialist dealer Black Cat Books offers an edited selection of out-of-print exhibition catalogues and all sorts of other volumes. Online browsing is a great source of inspiration. And simply for reference, Atlanta-based textile dealer Marla Mallett still generously shares detailed lists of recommended books (categories include Japanese and Chinese textiles, Tribal Flatweaves, African and Southeast Asian weavings). If you're searching for a present for a textile junkie or just want to build a library, check out her bibliographies then hit the shops.
