And Now For Some Good News...

Our national design museum has been shattering records: more than 45,000 visitors have come to see two current Cooper-Hewitt exhibitions, Color Moves: Art and Fashion by Sonia Delaunay and Set in Style: The Jewelry of Van Cleef & Arpels. Interest is so high, in fact, that the museum has extended the run of Set in Style through Monday, July 4 and Color Moves will now remain on view through Sunday, June 19.

If you haven't seen it already,  the video of Petra Timmer, design scholar and Delaunay expert, speaking with friends of the artist/textile designer is available here. It's a fascinating talk.

These sound like great exhibits. The jewelry one, especially!
