In conjunction with International Museum Day, the Michael C. Carlos Museum in Atlanta is offering visitors free admission to When Gold Blossoms: Indian Jewelry from the Susan L. Beningson Collection on Tuesday, May 18. Free admission will also be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. on Fridays, May 21, and June 11. The exhibition will remain on view through July 11, 2010

And it's one amazing bracelet after another. Much of it things most of us would love to grab and mix with jeans today. Really an amazing show.

I visited the American Stories exhibition at LACMA today, and I thought you might be interested in a print they were selling there. It's a really beautiful textile-inspired limited edition done by an artist from Virginia (now living in CA). They wrote about it on the museum's blog:
