Nine Years of Textiles, Art History, Gardens, and a Little Mental Traveling with Courtney Barnes

Robert Kime Refreshed

[Detail view, Robert Kime's  Iznik Green, Silk on cotton, hand-embroidered panel made in Uzbekistan using traditional Ottoman motifs.]

In case you missed this, Robert Kime's site has been updated with fresh images of his fabrics, upholstered furniture, pillows and other offerings. And you can keep better track of his published projects with the revamped editorial section.

Kime fans who've not yet seen it will want to get their hands on the March 2010 issue of World of Interiors with the cover story on South Wraxall Manor, Juicy Couture co-founder Gela Taylor's Jacobean house in Wiltshire. (The unexpected collaboration was covered from a different angle in Vogue, September 2009.) For textile and rug enthusiasts, there's much to take in along with the architecture.

I had to include the shot above because of that 1920s Ushak.
