The Joy of Looking

Hennessy Ingalls, the art and architecture bookstore, is offering reduced prices on titles related to textile design, fine art, historic houses and more. Two titles that caught my eye: Gerhard Richter's 4900 Colours and Ryan McGinness Works.

To see a video of the 4900 Colours installation in London, click here. Shown below, artist Ryan McGinness photographed in his studio for J. Crew's September catalog.

To see more artists' studios, click here.

FYI:
Jason Schmidt photographed Ryan McGinness and other artists in their respective studios for J. Crew. The series of pictures was inspired by Schmidt's book, Artists.

Here is the Hennessy Ingalls clearance link, and price reductions are also indicated in red in the new arrivals section. Happy hunting!

C- I hate to ask such a mundane question, but is there an easy way to find the reduced price books? Or, do you have to look through each category to find them? Sorry for the boring comment :(

Thank you for this. I adore Hennessy Ingalls and any excuse I have to go shopping there is a pleasure. Yay for a new reason to expand my library.

Hennessy Ingalls has the best books - Screen Deco, published under their own imprint, is INCREDIBLE - everyone should own a copy of that....
