Hands On II

I don't know about Kentucky's weekend forecast, but in Atlanta we're expecting more storms. Doesn't sound like a good time to accomplish any gardening. There is, though, a fun activity for children taking place at Emily Amy Gallery: Collage for Kids on Saturday, September 19th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Designed for kids of all ages, the project will incorporate one of Cecil Touchon's collages as an artistic guide. To reserve a space, contact emily@emilyamygallery.com.

I love this piece so clicked over. Guess what? Mad for the black and whites.

Wish I could take my kids. They are bouncing off the walls with all this rain. Sounds like a great event!

This looks like a great idea for the little ones. I love teaching children about art and letting them explore and create, the results can be truly amazing. Hope that you have a great weekend!

I was there today. Emily Amy made several work areas ranging from easier to harder. A few of the works were still there and they looked great.
