Nine Years of Textiles, Art History, Gardens, and a Little Mental Traveling with Courtney Barnes

Slinks: Easy Living with Amanda

I think it was back during the holidays when I first mentioned artist Amanda Talley and her experience working for legendary New Orleans decorator, Gerrie Bremermann. On Sunday, Amanda joined Gerrie and her husband Tom for dinner at their serenely elegant, art-filled apartment.

Mr. and Mrs. Bremermann have been together more than 60 years, reports Amanda.

With her trusty camera always in hand, she snapped some fun shots of the wonderful art on view.

Andrew Bucci watercolors flank the Bremermann's entry hall mirror.

Visit Amanda's new blog to read about all of the artists represented in the collection and to enjoy a complete tour, including the closets!
