Textile collector and designer, Rebecca Vizard, has graciously invited us into her St. Joseph, Louisiana studio. Among the lavish stacks of 17th, 18th, and early 19th century trimmings and textiles are finds from Europe, Turkey and India -- embroidery, filigree, ecclesiastic and other fragments. Most of these will be used for Vizard's high-end pillows.
Imagine being surrounded each day by so much history and inspiration.

If this was my studio I don't think I'd ever go home! Thanks for sharing this.
Jude, it's funny, if I'm not mistaken Becky's studio is on the same property as her home -- at least it was in the past :)
The more I learn about Vizard, the more impressed I am. Seeing her beautifully organized studio reinforces that. Talk about a dream job!
Yes, I love the organization by color!
