Asia Week at Christie's

Christie's Asia Week in New York begins tomorrow September 14. One of the highlights will be the sale of the Meriem Collection of Chinese snuff bottles. I think the samples above are exquisite, and something that might inspire a contemporary designer.

These elephant drawings are from Thailand, 19th century.

Did you get the pretty little information packet from Christie's? I think I am going to try to run over there this weekend and take a look at everything.

I know some people from Atlanta who attend the auction each year, and I always enjoy a sneak peek at the catalog as well as a look at their purchases when they return :)
