I have a new design crush: Windsor Smith's oh-so-cool Colonial. Check out the Domino video. Inspiration abounds.

I Love the style of Windsor Smith. Some people would say that some of her decor "doesnt go together" but some how all these diffrent piece's from all diffrent places works beautifully. I have never heard of windsor smith, thats why I love these design blogs.
Courtney- About three weeks ago I was at Barnes & Noble flipping through a "House Beautiful" book (I'll try to remember which one), and I came across some photos of Smith's work. I had never heard of her before and was interested in her work. And now here she is in Domino! Now if I could only remember which HB book it was.
Courtney, I totally love this woman's work! Just my style and so unique! I was excited to see this when I got my issue of Domino the other day. Makes me want to pull out my paints immediately - so inspiring and charming. Thank you, your blog is amazing!
Her work is very warm and inviting as is her personality. She uses so many interesting details and objects. I registered on her web-site for updates when she offers her wares for sale. Interesting concept to have these mini videos. Adds a new dimension to static photos.
OH MY GOODNESS - I LOVE THIS!!!!! Thank you for this Courtney, it is stunning!!! I LOVE her kitchen table with the side chairs and wing chairs as end chairs - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Thanks! XO Anna
My own houses have always been "better happy than right" (......after all, too much "right" & it blurs together and becomes waaaaay too Stepford.....!!)
I see loads of "happy" in Windsor Smith.....she's FAB. Cheers, Alison
